Hi there Everyone.
I seem to be in desperate need of a DVD Burning guru to help me resolve my burning problem :(
I have a few dvd movies I'm trying to burn on to some Dual/Double layer disks. I have a Plextor 760A with the latest firmware. I also just reinstalled the ASPI driver from Adaptec as I didn't see it listed. I still don't see it listed in nero's log but the Adaptec tool is reporting it now, where it didn't before.
The movie was ripped to the hard drive using DVDecoder and are all about 7.5ish gigs or so and I have burned these in the past fine but just recently all I'm getting are burn errors. VERY frustrating!
Here is my nero Log.

hmmm, doesnt seem to like the discs used? the ones you made previously are they the same dye code?
also not sure on size of project close to outer edge of dual layer? but may be ok there.
Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Same brand discs I've been using, unless they changed their dye recently as they were bought 1 or 2 months apart from each other.
I believe there is enough room for the write out as I've burned this size before :/

I just checked my disk stack and this is what's confusing :/ I thought I had opened the new spool of disks but I didn't as I still have a few of the first spool left. So my burning error is with the same spool still, so the same dyes :(
Thanks for the program though I'll be using that in the future for any other disk spools I buy once this burning issue is resolved.
Any other ideas?

Any other help. Verbatim is out of the question as I've used my very small budget on these and they were working fine.

Finally had a chance to get back to burning and used imgburn with the above guide.
I get a window that pops up now saying:
Optimum Power Calibration Failed!
Reason: Power Calibration Area Error.
Sooo did my drive go bad or something burn out?
