i have a dvd+r that i wanted to crop , it has some timing numbers at the bottom that i guess when was recorded it kept these on the screen thru the dvd recorder . it got burned on the disc which is in a widescreen format . i wantedt to go in and crop the numbers out , i know i can go into nero recode and do a crop and take the numbers out and make it a mpeg 4 file and burn thru nero express . i wanted to know if there is a software or something i can do this thru that will allow me to crop the video were i can put the black bar above the numbers and not lose any quality . any help apperiated . thanks
My theory is that first you would have to rip it from the dvd. Then convert it to .mpeg, .wmv, etc. Then edit it using Adobe premiere or other video editing software.
well for one thing did you buy this dvd? or was it download? if you bought it go get your money back what you have is a dvd screener, they are sent out to video stores to preview to know if they want to buy the dvd for rental, they are not for sale, and you are not allowed to copy theese disks it amounts to piracey, and if you downloaded it the same would apply.
no i think you are confused my friend , i video taped this in my camcorder at my bands concert . my wife made the recording for me and she forgot to turn off the screen counter and date which are at the bottom . it just annoying than anything and i wanted something i could go in and trim the bottom off so it would look ok otherwise . this is my own made tape of my own band .
