430 w PSU able to run GeForce 8800 GTS?

im looking into purchasing a GeForce 8800 GTS card as an upgrade for my system. i have a 430 w psu already, will i need to purchase a larger wattage psu or will the 8800 work with the 430 w psu.

ps: just in case... here are my computer specs amd 4000+ 64, foxcon board, 1 gb of ram (soon to be 2 gb), 250 sata seagate hdd, ati radeon x1050.

yes, a 430w psu can handle the 8800GTS. the requirement is a 400w psu.

the thing is, what brand psu are you using?

members will tell you to scrap it, which you should do. i doubt it'll be able to keep stable power when you add the 8800GTS.

get a corsair 450VX for solid power, or the 520HX if you want to use modular cables and keep the inside of the computer case clean.
