Ive ripped a dvd with convertxtodvd. The ps2 says "Not a valid tv format" or something simliar to it when i put it in. My old DVD player just keeps jumping up and down, like a scroll type thing. Ive noticed that problem before.(id like to know why it does this).

And finally it does play on my newer DVD Player correctly.

My guess is in the settings when i burned it might have been checked for either NTSC or PAL or one of the other. Not sure. Anyway to correct that, or even find out if i had once the DVD has been finalized?

Download and run 'GSpot'
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_...tools/gspot.cfm


From the the ConvertX output folder, drag VTS_01_1.VOB on to the GSpot window and check for the video standard (PAL or NTSC).

if ive already deleted the vob files from my system...not possible im guessing?

i cant put my dvd in and find out anything?

You can drag VTS_01_1.VOB from the VIDEO_TS folder on the disk onto GSpot.

In ConvertXtoDVD, go to Help and then select Open Log File.
