1- for $9 if it lasts 5 years and then you have to throw it away so what? After 5 years it'll be ancient tech hahahaha

2- Fry's Electronics are all over the place. They even have an online section. www.frys.com or www.outpost.com. hey just like www.rottenegg.com

try checking www.slickdeals.com too for deals and meals around you

peace & out

Raidmax units are very poorly made, and in addition to very frequently failing within recommended specifications (usually they give out before delivering half of what they say they will), when they do go, they usually take other components with them. A similar low quality PSU I had set fire to my floppy drive, destroyed a hard drive and a stick of RAM. I've learnt from my mistakes. I'm trying to protect you before it's too late.
NEVER skimp on a power supply.

You have to bear in mind that contrary to popular belief, the average gaming PC only uses 200W of power. Anybody who pushes this unit close to what it claims to provide is going to experience problems. Bear in mind a lot of the time these units give out over periods of time, and most people at newegg review products shortly after buying them.

id say go with the corsair, like sammorris suggested. they are pretty expensive compared to other PSUs but they are also made ALOT better then the cheaper kind and you get your bucks worth...or pounds worth lol but for gods sake do NOT, i repeat, DO NOT get a rosewill PSU

Antec Earthwatts units are OK, but given that the Corsair is the same price after the rebate, I'd say go for that one, it's still a better unit.
