Have been using Nero Recode for a few years now w/ excellent results. Didn't realize all this time it was a cracked version ( a friend had installed for me years ago while doing work on my PC)

I have a laptop w/ a burner in it & would like to have Recode installed on it. I like Recode because When I backup I only like to do backup Main Movie ONLY. Recode gives me that option . Shrink DVD doesn't ?

Now I want to buy a legal copy of it. Not sure what to get. I see there's Ultra, Essentials versions & so many other versions.

What I need it to have is #1 Nero Recode & #2 Nero Express.

Can I have it work w/ 2 different PC's also , If I have the disc ??

DVD Shrink will give you about the same options as Recode when it comes to DVD backup. To do movie only, you just choose "Re-author".

You can actually rip/decrypt only the main movie, no point on wasting time and HDD space by ripping the entire movie and back-up only the main title.
You can use the combo DVD Shrink/ImgBurn for free, one click authoring-burning.

Here is the guide for "Re-Author" mode for DVD Shrink, where you can select main movie only. Can join 2 movies, split one in 2 parts...

Install the version of DVD Shrink that automatically burns with ImgBurn:

Where can I get that version ............?

I don't have a version that burns w/ ImgBurn.

The one I have says I still need to find a burning software.

I do have both Shrink & ImgBurn. But have to use shrink first, put movie on HD, then open ImgBurn to put onto disk.

It would be nice to have a version of Shrink that will just automatically burn w/ ImgBurn.

Everything is explained in the thread I suggested, take 5 minutes, scroll down and read:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/573367

If you did all that, the option to burn with ImgBurn will be given after you hit Backup!
