hi guys

i purchased nero7 and set it up as instructed but cant burn dvd's as i get messege saying that the file is to big but its not as the film is only 90mins long.
how can i burn a dvd with nero7?

Hi,

Pls explain further as there are many reasons why you'd be getting 'file too big' message......Assumming you selected 'DVD' in Nero Smartstart, what type of file are you trying to burn and which of the nero aplications are you trying to use?

ok,files are 700mb long,fikes are xvid and dvdrip if this is any help.
i could burn to play in pc only but want it to burn in all dvd formats.ive manged to start burning via nero recode essentials but its now taking nearly 1hr to burn,is this ok?

is there anything else as im newish to this burning stuff

nope,it didnt work-came out as testdata instead.

i used ashampoo the other time and downloaded it to burn for what i thought was any format but when i tried playing it on my stand alone dvd player it couldnt read.

what is the best way of doing it as when i go into nero startsmart and put in dvd which option am i going for and what needs to happen.

all help is greatfully recieved

not got time to chat but get the free app dvd flick

easy app, chuck avi in, set pal or ntsc in project settings, (insert dvdr) click go...

ive dnt as instructed but what is the quickest way of burning a dvd as its taking of an hour to encode,and is this normal?

1 hour or 2 is normal, all dependant on pc specs etc etc.

convertxtodvd is very good and fast
