Slave Drive with Windows Files (keep them or not)?

Okay so I have an 80GB IDE Master and an 250GB IDE Slave.
I planned on making the 250GB the Master but it didn't work out that way. So I have my 80GB Master's files copied onto the 250GB Slave, is it safe to delete all of those copied files?
I'm trying to maximize storage space here and just want to be safe (I assume I can delete them without any problems).

If the master drive contains an OS, you ought to use a program like Norton Ghost rather than copy the files yourself.

Sam, when I tried to install the 250GB as the master, the Seagate program automatically copied the files for me.
I'm just asking if its safe to delete all of the copied files since the 250GB is going to stay as a slave.

I'll clarify this just to be sure:
You have a working operating system installed on the 80GB drive. You copied the entire contents of the 80GB drive to the 250GB drive, but no longer need the copies, so you want to delete them?
If that's the case, then yes it's fine, as long as you copied them, not cut and pasted them.

I deleted everything else but it won't let me delete the Windows folder because:
"Cannot delete Flash9.0cx: Access if Denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use."

The link said its not available there.
Should I try to uninstall Flash off my Slave (not sure how uninstalling programs off slave drives works) because there is an uninstaller in the folder?
Here is the system path:
G:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
What would I use MoveonBoot for?
Also I think the WINDOWS folder has hidden folders I can't see to delete, how would I remedy this problem?
(It might be awhile before my next response)

I tried to uninstall it, it won't let me, same result.
So I'm dl'ing MoveOnBoot now. What should I do when I have it installed?
I chose delete folder and set it to the delete the folder upon next boot.
I will see if it works later.

cant you just format the drive?
xp disk can and the harddrive install software also (usually) has software to do a "complete" (rather than "quick") format.

oh and if you right click over the drive while you are booted in XP the submenu has a formate option
unless there's other info on the harddrive you want to save
then i would:
transfer it over to an external or something before formatting
or use an unlocker on it http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
or use a file wiper on it
or try deleting it while your OS is in safe mode

If you're deleting everything on the drive and it's all backed up, yes you should simply reformat the drive. Go into disk management (start-> Run and type diskmgmt.msc ) and then right click on the drive and delete its partition. You can then reformat it again using Quick format and the drive's ready to use in seconds.
