Windows XP Movie Maker 2.0 Preview Doesn't Work. Need help

Basically I've been making music videos on Movie maker for a very long time. Just recently when I'm trying to use the preview option on the right hand of the screen the but video doesn't run it's frozen. It never does that, at times the video may run but then my Computer goes blue screen when I persist to make the preview work.

Please any information that can resolve this is more than welcome.
