showtime network playing issue

I've recently installed invelos dvd software and am setting it up to play my movies, either on my desktop pc, (me) or my wireless laptop, (Toshiba) using showtime as my player on the pc and wmp on the laptop.

When using a local address such as h:\movies\pulp fiction\video_ts.ifo both computers will launch their player and play it just fine.

When I use the network address such as \\me\h\movies\pulp fiction\video_ts.ifo the wmp player will work just fine on both computers but when I use showtime on my desktop with that address I get the error (the folder selected does not contain valid dvd-video, svcd, or vcd structure. Please use the "media files" function to browse and play back files from this folder.

I would like to resolve this as showtime is my preferred browser, any suggestions would be appreciated.
