need help with my r4, ds won't power on

i just bought my r4 2 days ago and it is broken, i have only used it once before, when i tried to use it today, my ds won't power on..the other game cartridges work fine.. so i think there is something wrong with my r4 cartridge!! does anyone know how to fix this??
PS: my miscrosd card works fine.

If it's new then send it back and get it swapped.
