I just got a new dvd drive and accidently uninstalled my old version of nero. SO i installed nero 7 premium and now when i try to burn DVD rip that i downloaded it is all distorted. I burned it once, it took 12 hours and came out all distorted. I fallow the tuttorial here about DMA, all my settings were fine and said DMA but i reinstalled it anyway to be safe. Tried burning the same movie and it was going to take 9 hours but when it was going thru the frame by frames it still looked distorted. Plays crystal clear on my PC.
Is there a plugin tht i need to download our something?
I can't remember what my old version of nero was, think it was Nero 6 premium. I always use to burn movies that i downloaded in like 3 to 4 hours and they turned out great.
yes i took drive out and put it in on same cable, i baught the exact same drive as before. The movie comes in 2 halves and is a dvd rip. when i play it on my pc with it plays fine but when it's burning it starts to distort the picture. I wonder if it's the video file that i downloaded. I'm a little new to all this, been burning movies like this for a few years with my old nero. I would just got to ceate dvd and drag over the files to burn and then press burn and they all turned out fine. do i need a plugin?
yeah its's distorted on dvd when i play it back. The drive is in the same position as before with the cables, and the jumper is set to master. as far as the AVI to dvd, most of the movies i download are AVI i believe. Like i said i'm use to just draging them into nero and burning them, they always came out fine.
