I have recently been having trouble with Nero 8. I am writing large files to DVD from a Dlink DNS-323 file server, Nero first caches the files and then begins to burn, at which point memory usage shoots up from 40% to 98%. It seems as though Nero is caching the files to burn directly into memory instead of the local HDD.
I have tried a complete removal and reinstall but no luck, when I disable "Cache files from disk and network" memory usage remains low, but this puts a lot of strain on the network when writing at high speeds.

Any ideas?
