i have downloaded "Call of Duty 4 (patch 1.4-1.5+crack server fix).rar" from a torrent website and then downloaded "DAEMON Tools Lite" (i got told by "marvelz") (who is a newbie, like me) and its still not letting me play Call of Duty 4.... can anyone help me??

I don't do games myself, but from the name I see it is archived in .rar.
Have you unpacked the .rar?
I'd suggest using the free and open source 7-Zip for that.

.exe is for 32 bit (which most people have)\
.msi is for 64 bit

You would most likely need the .exe.
That is the installer. Once installed you would right-click the .rar file and select 7-Zip and either extract here to extract in the folder that the .rar is in or extract files to choose a location to extract to.
