After having version 6 for the last 4 years I am wanting to get a newer and better version of Nero. It seems like with all the versions that have came out since version 6 there's been alot of difference in opinions about which is better. My main concerns are being able to burn audio cds without those gaps that one of the nero 7 versions put into them at the end of each track. If anyone can suggest a good version it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

just audio cds stay with v6 - what was it like 30/40meg file?

i got retail nero at 1 gig file installs like 4 gig bloatware!

v6 was tops...

there are plenty of apps for cds but i use nero v8 for cds but a better app is Easy CD-DA Extractor, does all sorts

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Thanks for the help. I have Nero Ultra Edition but when I burn a concert cd it puts in that 2 second gap which really sucks. I also have Nero 6 I think, but it doesn't have Nero Showtime or Nero Vision with it. I just wish I could find a freeware program that would let me burn concert cds without the gap

Nero has had gapless CD burning for ages. Nero 6 enables you to set the gap to almost anything, including 0.

Yeah, I did everything I could think of to get the two second gap out of the tracks using Nero 7, it still was there though. I just removed Nero 7 and went back with Nero 6. I think I will just stay with that version. I would hate having to buy a new version and still have the same problem. The only thing I don't like about version 6 is not being able to author dvds......

Huh? I've authored a few hundred DVDs with Nero 6/NeroVision Express 2 and 3, over the years.

i think he means nero v6, its 2 or 3 separate downloads, like burning rom / vision express and something else.
