How to burn DVD9 onto DVD+R DL

Hi. I have all the .vob files etc totalling 7.48gb. Using Nero 7.8.5.0 I selected Nero Burning rom then DVD-Video. I was concerned about the layer break (I burn my 360 games with a .dvd file which sets the layer break for me in clone cd) but read that Nero automatically sets it. I loaded all my files into the video_ts window and burned. It started to burn layer 1 then it started layer 2 so I thought all was well. about 4 mins into layer 2 it failed. Here is the log. I wonder if there is anything obvious that you can see? I have a pretty much 100% success rate burning 360 games onto DL discs and DVD's onto ordinary 4.7gb dvd-rs but this is my first attempt at DL dvds.

Hi deek72,
I had exactly the same problem and so far have lost 3 DVD+R DL. I've tried burning image using Nero but it still failed. Have you sorted the problem out by using ImgBurn? Can you share the tip with me? Many thanks.

Your ISO should be accompanied by an MDS, choose that file in Imgburn in "write" mode and burn to disc. You can place Imgburn into the test mode also to see if the burn will fail or not.
