Hey its me again (LOL)...seems like its one problem after another

Well the problem is my computer is being too noisy, im presuming its the cpu.
I know its not overheating, the temp is at 37C (p4 2.93ghz processor)
the fan speed is 3629RPM

My computer doesnt have any dust in atm, since i put in a new cooler master 500w psu, and a gigabyte ga-73pvm-s2h mobo.

heres a screenshot from speedfan.

Coolermaster PSU = earmuff time, they're very noisy units. The CPU fan seems a little overzealous as well though, you may want to use speedfan to drop the speed back.

you need to verify where exactly the noise is comming from first. My advice don't rule out your video card fan. I've had 2 incident's of noisy fan's and both where video card fan's.

The tiny video card fans can be extremely noisy when they start going bad. I don't even bother replacing them. I just disconnect the power plug on them and install a 80mm case fan to blow directly on the video card heatsink. Works everytime.

I always suspected it was my cpu fan or power supply that was making all the noise, because the noise was so loud "it had to be a large fan" but it always was the tiny insignificant video card fan giving me problems.

Large fans are inherently quieter than small ones, but they make lower pitched noises because they don't have to spin so fast so consequently they're less annoying.

Oh just as extra info, I opened the case while the computer was running and stopped the Cpu Fan for a few secs and realised it was making some considerable noise. Whereas i do agree that the psu was making some noise, i reckon its bearable if the cpu noise was reduced.

Of course, CPU fans can be prone to bearing failures as well which is dangerous as not only do they make a nasty noise but they can also massively drop in speed.

You will have issue overclocking a CPU at all on that motherboard, If I remeber rightly it doesn't have an overclocking option so your CPU will have to stay at stock. A shame because E2000 series CPUs are mediocre stock, but outrageously fast when overclocked.
