You cannot upgrade laptop graphics cards. Also, what games do you intend on playing saadzaman?

You can't, but this is a desktop, Waymon!
To be honesty, both graphics cards are abysmal so I wouldn't worry about comparing them. Just remember that not only will you need to upgrade the graphics carsd, but also the cooling and the Power supply so the PC can take one. Are you willing to build a PC yourself? You will get much better performance for the price.

Yes but to be fair Waymon, you can build a ruddy gaming PC for five hundred dollars nowadays...

Oh yeah, I agree, building a pc is way better than buying one. It is so much cheaper and you get better parts. You can build a pc that will kick the HP's or Acer's ass in gaming.

Make a post in our official PC building thread and we'll help you through it. As to which components you should buy depends on your budget.

Hi Guys
I've found a new website which sells some real cheap graphics cards, Computer Warehouse. They have a full range of graphics cards from asus, bfg, sapphire etc and even their high spec gaming graphics cards are on sale really cheap.
here's the link straight to their graphics cards menu:
http://www.pc-warehouseuk.com/menu_graphicscards.html
Computer Warehouse is based in Manchester but i bought a BFG NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT OC 512MB PCIe Gaming Graphicsc card from them online and they delivered it for the next working day.
Check 'em out, they have a sale on most of their graphics cards at the mo.

Having to shop by brand is a little odd, and their prices are a little higher than most places, but I'll keep them in mind.
