Hello all,

I am on a 1500/256 broadband connection and i have allways had good conenction to download movies tv shows etc... and i now how this all works, BUT the last two or three days my downloads have been starting off @ over 100kbs for abt 5 minutes, then they drop down to 0/bs and stay there till i stop the download and restart the download. anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

here are some details about the file i am downloading...

Seeds 371 (13868)
Peers 390 (22358)

Swarm speed 9.03MB (24.6kbs average) Average completions 43.7%

The two blue bars up the top.
Downloaded: 89.2%
Availability: 504.999

Completed: 177578
Distrubuted copies: 109.000

i have gone to speedtest.net and my connection is 1345 and my upload 332

I have not had a problem before and all of a sudden the 0b/s is showing all the time. This movie has taken about 4 days so far. I am well under my Download Quota from my ISP. I dont have a NAT problem. My port that i am using is open and fine.

Any ideas as to whats happening here? its just not this file either, its others also, and they have had double the amount of seeders to peers..

I can think of two possibilities.

One is too many open connections. See Good Settings for numbers appropriate to your line speed.

It could be ISP interference. You could try encryption as set forth at Avoid Traffic Shaping.
I would suggest trying Level 2 encryption.
