the mp3 that i want to burn is 45:37 min. long.

when i drag it into nero, the gui indicates it is 99:15 min. long.

this will happen with any mp3 i want to burn.

don't knock yourself out trying to figure this one out. after all, this is a free cd version of nero that came with the new cd-rw drive..... probably garbage.

I use other programs(that come with my computer) for burning audio
WinMediaPlayer, Record Now, or MusicMatch

As far as audio only... using dvd authoring software seems like too big a hassle.

Of course for a mp3 that is 45:37 minutes long you may need to use a dvd instead of a cd im not sure. But if you use dvd authoring, wouldnt it be a datadisc anyways? I would use Record Now and make a dvd datadisc.

Of course all of this is common knowledge, and your wondering why mp3 files are having time added to them when you drag and drop.

Try to insert the mp3's manually, thru the ad files button.. see if it mysteriously adds time to them or doubles there time. Or.. look in he preferences/options/settings to see what it does for mp3s.

Not sure.. just trying to help. :)
