First turn off yout CAP LOCK, it is rude and against forum rules.

Next you have Roxio installed but this is a Nero log.
CDRALW2K.SYS is the Roxio driver.
Nero and Roxio do not get along, so pick one.

Search the web for Roxio zap tool to get rid of Roxio.

Uninstall Nero and run the clean tool to get rid of Nero.
http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-cleantools.html

If you keep Nero update to 7.10.1.0.
http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893

You could use a firmware update but I do not know where to get one for a GENERIC DVD RW 8XMax.

You should slow the burn rate to 4x.

Old DVD burner with old firmware.

Quote:
According to Nero, There are several possible reasons for this error.
The problem may be as simple as using poor media. Try another disc, especially a disc with a different brand.
Poor power flow to your drive may also cause this problem. Try opening your system and using a different power connector. Make sure no other devices are using a power connector in the same strand.
According to Ahead, if this doesn?t solve your problem you may need to send your drive in for servicing as the head may be dirty or misaligned.
As to the last reason, it would be better just to buy a new burner.

=======================

you seem to have 3x dvd drives, is this right?

theres more going on there than the dvd drive burn prob.

---------------------
do you have virtual drives loaded?

use roxioxap tool, to dump roxio apps and it cleans registry for you aswell...

uninstall nero, then use your version of nero clean tool from nero website...

uninstall the ide/atapi controller from DEVICE MANAGER and reboot pc...

get all the latest drivers from the makers of your motherboard and install them...

then re-install nero (new updated version!)

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
