Hi peoples.

I have a Pioneer 106D with 1.05 firmware. I was wondering , what firmware other peeps are running with this model burner.

You see, I use Princo DVD's and for some reason my burner will no longer read or write on them, it will read and write other brand DVD's but just not Princo. And since I have 100 Princo DVD's i'd like my burner to read and burn on them again.

Advice needed

In August of 2003 I bought 25 Princos on ebay. Of that 25 I got 13 working copies. My burner is a NEC ND-1100A 4X DVD+RW - bought it from Newegg.com as an OEM bare drive. Since I've read stories that people either love Princo or hate them. I'll not buy another knowingly. Sorry, donno about your firmware.

It's ok now

I updated my Firmware and that did nothing to help :(

But, I tested other Princo's that had movies on them and they worked fine, as did another batch that I bought awhile ago. Thankfully I know the woman I bought them from and she replaced them all.

I love Princo, their cheap, and they work great (most of the time LOL)
