Canon Canoscan 8800F - HELP!

I just got given a Canon Canoscan 8800F for my birthday and have started scanning old family photos. The 35mm film is going perfectly - they are almost coming up as well as the photographic printer I use at work.

The only problem is I have a fair few 126 films and the scanner doesn't come with a holder for them.

Does anyone know if you can a) get a holder for these films anywhere
or b) scan them in somehow?

I tried putting them in the 35mm holder but its chopped off at the top because they aren't the same size.

Any suggestions would be great.

Oh and I've already tried just sitting the film in the scanner bed by themselves
