HI,LOOKING FOR A LITTLE INFORMATION,ON HOW TO GET MY D2 BOX UP AND RUNNING AGAIN.HAVE READ AND TRIED MANY OF THE FIXES BUT STILL NO JOY.NOT GREAT AT THIS TYPE OF THING.BUT WOULD LOVE TO SORT IT OUT.CAN I MANUALLY INPUT ANY CODES INTO THE BOT? ON SPORTSER,AND N&l NETWORK.IN DUBLIN STH..THANKS

helo mate if you put laky pro and follow the guide in my sig you should be fine!
you need some time and a null modem cable.

hello mate have you got a NULL MODEM CABLE then?
and also, if you follow the instructions carefully in mine and not forgetting to choose what area your from on the dbox once the image is on it.
i shouldnt see there being any problems, mine took about an hour to do. and it worked easily.. first time, and it was the first time i ever done anything like this in my life!
if you need any help please write back ill see what i can do..

Thanks will try later, but i am brutal at this type of thing may need to be shown how to do it.as i dont have a clue,its all new to me but i will get it running again some how,thanks.

ok not a problem mate the only tool u need is a NULL MODEM CABLE.
if you have that you are laffin!
just post in here when u get going and let me know how i goes.

ok pal you will also need the files in the folder that you dowloaded. the laky pro image and the u-boot file is what you will need also from that folder.

have tried non stop for 4 hrs,no joy only getting to step 4,will not allow me enter the key dl800000.any surgestions..this is driving me crazy.anyone in Dublin area,interested in showing me how to get this bok going again.will gladly pay for time and effort..if anyone interested pls pm me thanks

hello again.
at step 3, did you turn your dbox on by pressing the UP ARROW on the box and keeping hold of it for around 10 seconds?
(not by pressing the power button on the box, just the UP ARROW)
if you did you should have information in your HyperTerminal box.
and now you should be able to enter dl 800000 ..
are you sure you entered the correct settings at STEP 2 and turned the box on with the UP ARROW at step 3?
im from merseyside mate so i couldnt do it for you.

hey andy you can buy 1 cheap from cablestar uk, i live in ireland and it cost me ?10.57 including delivery. The lads in work paid ?40 in maplin.

hi i am stuck on step 4 after the dl: start address 0x800000 comes
up says you will now need to type in the following command and hit enter this will start the u boot file it start but i dont no if i am putting in the write thing chorus 800000 have you got to write chorus 80000 twice thanks norrie

am stuck at the start after connecting to the hyper terminal, i have clicked the no for the default and then another box comes up saying connection discription what do i need to do next? info asap.

Could any1 help, have set up connection had to edit settings to type text, have typed dl 800000, and am getting no reply back from the box. Am definately connected as info came up from holding up arrow and power button on front of box.
am using null modem cable.

hi guys,im also new to this.i definitely have the null madem cable and i downloaded hyper terminal and seems to work fine.i followed the steps in the guide but every time i go to turn the dbox on just holding the up arrpw it just freezes on a page with a load of stuff i cant explain but nothing like the description.can anyone give me help to get the dbox connected.it wud be much appriciated.tanx

is it todo with the dbox i have,it says on the front : d.box MULTIMEDIA TERMINAL DV3 by nokia.i've noticed alot about dbox 2 but im jus trying to get this thing fixed.any help whatsoever would really really be appriciated.
