looks like you have conflicting drivers installed
useing default + others
take a snapshot of the ide listings only and post here (your pri/sec and others in list)
Nothing here to see, move along folks.

I managed to burn two ISO video files using verbatim cd's, one video with Imgburn and the other with nero burning rom, both played in my pc but wouldn't play in my home dvd player, I 've burned lots of video's and cd's using the same software and media and never had a problem till now, well just a few, in the Imgburn forum I've been told I have a dma problem I have tried everything to enable dma I've googled till I can't google no more, and still haven't found a solution, in the bios the burner is set to auto which is the best setting I've been told.

i think the same you need to get rid of some drivers
ok do you have any Serial ATA drives installed??? if you dont uninstall all the VIA drivers but if you have Serial ATA drives leave just the SATA link, uninstall all other 3 VIA. leaving pri/sec defaults for now then reboot pc see if they come back? if when getting to desktop they try to install stop them (popups by clock)
my settings are here...

look in via bus master ide controller and show me what you have in there.
there is another check to do, but we go that route after/next.

dma isnt need then! if your drives are all SATA forget about it!
you only need dma for ide drives!
also use direct link from uploaded pics and insert into img tag button on reply section here where you type to reply box...
so forget dma is not needed in your case!

is the problem that your dvds you make, play ok back on pc drives but not in home standalone players on TV?
this could be structure or dvdr's used if you have +R booktype to dvd-rom makes it like original if your burner allows booktyping?
also are you setting PAL or NTSC correctly?
what discs are you useing now? use dvd identifier on them to find out the dye/mid code for us

That's not exactly correct. I chose not to install the SATA/RAID drivers hence my my HD's, SATA II and I, show as IDE devices with UDMA enabled.
