Burned downloaded ps2 games not able to load

I've tried NERO and alcohol to burned downloaded ps2 games torrents.
I did mount the images and tried to burn.
But the games don't seems to be able to run on my ps2 console.
I've use DVD-R and my ps2 console is modded.
Will naming the disc name affect the disc not to be abled to play on the console?

Well to start, you shouldn't have to mount them. You should just be able to double click the img icon and nero will take care of the rest.

What type of discs are you using exactly?

u mean i jus right click the image file and just open with nero?

You should just double click the img icon and nero should start to load on its own. Yes.

What brand of dvd-r's are you using?
