Hello guys,
i just joined the forum today :)
look like a very great forum.
Anyways let me get straight to the point here.
I currently own a Laptop, but I'm looking to have a Home computer.
Now, i was quite stuck on a computer for a while(premade)

Dell XPS One,
for those of you who don't know, basically it is a very (clean Cut) computer,
in other words Like a iMac that basically everything is in the monitor and there are no wires around just One for the Ac Plug(Hence the name"One")
Now problem is, very expensive but i was thinking of the monthly payment, but now i was thinking , mostly my computer needs are Music Making and Art, I am an occasional Gamer.
I basically thought for cheaper, i rather build one cause i strongly also the option to extend my PC or Upgrade and Dell sucks.
What would anyone suggest?
My Budget is about 750$.

i need a good computer
with a good soundcard that i can possibly plug in these

and has great performance with programs like (Photoshop CS3,Flash CS3,FL Studio,Cubase) and possibly a great monitor prefer around 21"
im not sure about Operating system
i'd rather get Windows Media Center so i can use it as a TV or something cause Vista Sucks.

To link us to a picture, simply paste the link here, you don't need to bother with the square bracket url nonsense. To embed an image in your post use [ i m g ] before the link and [ / i m g ] after it, but without the spaces.
The PC you've got is fascinating, I never realised Dell made PCs like this. The disadvantage of such designs should be obvious when upgrades come to mind, so realistically you'd be better off building another PC. $750 is a plentiful budget, especially if you're not a major gamer. If you can list the sort of things you hope to play, it will be easier to provide a list of the right components.
As a professional musician, you may want to look into a pro-grade sound card. I'll be honest with you, I have no idea what sort of card you would require to use large jacks like those, it may be simpler to use adapters to convert them to normal 3.5mm plugs or phonos.
This is my initial ideas list:

That looks like would be a great PC
problem is
i have to consider the Windows Operating system
also
i don't know i rather spend less for case and more for RAM
then later on get an awsome case

Changing case is one of the most lengthy upgrades you can make to a PC, since everything has to come out and be changed (well, almost everything). If you want a nice case, get one from the start and save yourself the trouble. As for windows, I'll leave that in your hands. Let's just say that some of us didn't pay that much for our operating systems... ;-)
