what is your opinion on alienware computers? i have heard they are over priced but i cant make my own pc.i want to live and not die by something i made. and another thing i was gunna get the area 51 7500 but then i saw the aurora was cheaper and aparently is better at playing games by 1/2 a star? does that make sense? $200 less and it can play games better? anyone know what is up with that. just wondering if anyone can help me.

I've never really looked too much into it, but if you really like the alienware comps, you could try just shopping for the exact same parts and see what you come up with, so this way your cutting your budget AND you wont have to worry about compatability issues so u dont "die by something i made". Unless of course, its the assembly part that you fear =)

They definitely are overpriced...but i heard Dell bought them out a while ago, so i dont know if they are any more or less affordable now =/

yeah, alienware is EXTREMELY overpriced. its a reliable gamming company but it is really overpriced. try something like ibuypower.com if the shipping isnt too expensive where you live.
