Hi folks,

After problems last year i was advised to upgrade to Nero 6.6.0.3 everythings been fine until i received ''error reading data'' burn fail messages.

This was on average and good media, verbs and memorex.

Anyway cleaned my lens with air duster (as this worked in the past) , checked that my DMA'S were all on, they were. Tried to upgrade to Nero 6.6.0.18 but having problems. After uninstalling, using nero gen clean tool, ccleaner and rebooting, then i upgraded but the wizard keeps stopping with a pop up that says that Nero burning rom is already using files needed, so please close Nero down and try set up again. But i hadnt opened Nero so i am stuck cannot upgrade?

When i was uninstalling the only thing i requested was that Nero keep my licence number and my personal settings but everything else was removed. Is this because i should upgrade to Nero 7, or are there 2 separate issues here.


Any advice appreciated.

i would try useing tool again, then when it reboots and says that again reboot agqain then try to load
