Every time I make a movie that lasts more than 1hr.20min. the movie starts to skip and gradually gets worse. I use Nero Vision and the burner I use is TSST corp CD/DVDW TS-H652M Ultra Speed With Light Scribe. Does anyone know why, and how to fix the problem. I have Nero 8 Ultra

dvdrs used inferior

tell us the code off the disc useing dvd identifier

can be helped by making the output size smaller say 4300meg but only a long shot, also burn slow 4x/6x, and leave pc alone while burning.

all this can be remeded by buying verbatim dvdrs.

Does the file skip when played direct from your computer or if you play the dvd on your computer? If it only skips when playing in your standalone DVD player could be the DVD player mine had the same problem watch about half way through a film would starting to skip changed the player problem went away put it down to when the player was getting warm it was only a cheap player so chucked it in the skip :)
