Not able to burn DVD's only CD's

I am trying to burn a .avi file to a disk so i can play it on my telly

I have the right disks but all i can burn is CD in a dvd format (which means i can only burn upto 700mb on a 4.3gb disk)

I have a nero OEM and i dont no what edition it is

Help please

i have found it BUT it still wont let me burn to DVD's

only CDs

As far as I know OEM versions do not have the DVD application in NeroVision...only CDs.

you say burn avi file, does this mean as data or convert it and burn to dvd

this is a file type

i grab traliers of the net and shove them on a disk to watch in HD

This is the only format i can get
