svcd to dvd PLEASE HELP

i have a few svcds and want to burn them onto dvd
i tried dvd lab- and burned them to dvd, they worked, but only in svcd comaptible players (even though its on a dvdr) i used main concept mpeg encoder to reencode the svcds to dvd and used all the right settings, but when i played them on a non svcd compatible player, it jittered, almost like a home video filmed by someone shaking. Does anyone have any idea how to convert the svcds to dvd? thanks

svcd is not dvd compatible. what i do is use tmpge to reprocess your movies to the CVD format. then use tmpgedvd to create your dvd's. don't forget to change the adio to 48hz. you could open it up in VirtualDub and process the audio that way. then use tmpge to process and combine them to CVD. also.
