I have just bought a second hand computer from a friend and in the program files on the C drive there is a folder labeled Nero7 which I want to delete. However, it won?t delete.
I have tried the Nero Clean Tool but when I type in the file path from the folder ie; C:\ProgramFiles\Nero7\NeroBackItUp the Clean Tool shows a dialog box ?The selected path is invalid? I clicked OK and tried just clicking ?Clean? which went through various stages but didn?t remove anything.
I have a similar problem. I downloaded the Nero 7 Clean Up Tool and removed everything on the list. However, there are still many components in my Nero 7 folder under Program Files such as Nero BackItUp, Nero WaveEditor, etc. What can I do to remove every component of Nero from my hard drive? Thanks for your replies. Have tried right click and delete but get "cannot delete mfc7u.dll. access is denied" I tried moving the dll file to an external drive, tried again and it brought up another file with the same message....ad infinitum.
Have never looked inside the registry so unfortunately, I don't know how to go about deleting NERO entries. I worry in case I slip up and do something which would affect my system.
