i was downloading a file that is 47GB and when it got to 85% i needed to reinstall windows so now i don't know how to continue downloading from where it stop. if someone has any clue ... thx
You were downloading 47 GB? Really? Not 4.7 GB (DVD5 size)? Are you sure?
If you reinstalled Windows (why?) that download is gone for ever.
Bitlord is spyware and scamware. Use a different Bit Torrent client like Azureus. Reasons not to use Bitlord:
-Links to paid advertising sites
-Your IP will become a "hit" for some poor guy trying to sell something thinking you are actually visiting his website.
-During installing, use, and uninstalling, BitLord creates a dozen "unknown" entries, and does not let go of your system even after uninstalling and removing all "left over" registry entries.
-Deleting these entries causes Bitlord to hijack Azureus associations
-One entry has "Microsoft" in it
-Comes with its very own spy seeder that sends bits of itself out with every torrent piece, and tracks users who get pieces from a Bitlord user, reporting their IPs back to a remote site.
yea i doubt it was 47 GB, also just cause he re-installed windows dosnt mean he lost the file. re-download the torrent program and it should pick up where it left off if you didnt delete the file. also indochine is correct dont use torrent, however i say dont use torrents at all they are garbage. famialerize yourself with what the undergrounds call news groups. do a search.
It's a 47GB it's the simpsons all 18 serials and it is not picking up from where it was, it starts from the begining so i'm f@#%ed up. I guess what u are saying is that there is no way to do this.
thx anyway
if someone has any ideas how to download this without problem pls tell me
maybe he owns it and its a backup and his burner quit so he thought he would just download them to save time of having to rip them while he waited on his new burner to come in the mail? could be true. with a file size that big you want a stable connection man, dont mess with torrents. but the final answer to your question now is your screwed you cant get that file back.
reinstall bitlord do not choose folder that download is in already in
let bitlord create folder. do not move file instead cut and paste in to bitlord temp folder close bitlord restart pc open bitlord and folder should load backup and download were it was last
note if you have lost any torrent markers this prosses is pointless
