Ok..here's the PSU that's currently in my case. Now that I've found it and held it up to the corsair I can see your right about corsair being the better choice. I'm just a little worried the lower wattage will effect my computer.

It won't - even with two graphics cards, high end gaming PCs rarely draw more than 350W, at the mains, meaning they barely draw 300W out the PSU.

Alas, Corsair do not make 400W units, so it'll be an HX520. They do make a 450W VX, but if stressed, they're not as quiet as the HX units.
