M3 Real and M3 Simply multiplayer

Okay so I've had a m3 simply for about a year and it has worked perfectly. This past week I decided it was time to update my mod to play gba games as well, so i got a M3 Real and a 4gig card. I loaded it up with my games and it worked fine.

Now I gave my M3 simply to my sister and put the backups of her games on the simply. I copied the rom and put it on my m3 real so we could try some multiplayer for a few games. But when I tried multiplayer...Whichever person started the game couldn't find the other person...

Now I tested it with Mario Party DS as well as Cooking Mama 2 and neither work. Anyone else experience this problem or know how to fix it?

The only thing I thought it could be is that since we had the same rom, it wouldn't find eachothers game because it is basically an exact copy of the game.

i have the same problem but i think it might be because you have the same rom

but i tested this. i have a mario kart ds orignal and my m3 real with mario kart on it
when i hosted the game with my m3 real it couldnt find players but when i hosted it with my orignal mario kart i could join with my m3 real card

yeah I actually tried that too with the exact same game xD. Right now I am going to try downloading a new rom file and see what happens.

will update post with what happens.
