I have Nero 8. And I got a few questions here.
1) How to burn dvd(.vob) together with subtitles(.sub)?
2) How to burn AVI with subtitles?
3) Please show me multiple alternatives like using Vision or Express or Burning Rom.

Nero cannot add subtitles.

Alternatives:

For DVD

But I checked around and many said Nero can, just that I did not quite understand, maybe I did not post clearly enough.

1) I got the dvd files (.vob) and I want to burn it on a dvd with subtitle file (.sub). How?

2) I got AVI files and I want to burn it in a dvd with subtitles. How?

Nero Vision indeed does not suppurt subtitles. However, it can be "helped". I tried(just for fun:~)!), and if you install FFDShow and disable Nero Vision's video codec, then the movie will be encoded using FFDShow instead and use the subtitle. However, it is not practical, just to experiment with it for fun! Use one of the free applications.
