Hi. I just started emulating a few days ago so I am kind of a noob. (First set is admitting the problem.)

I have been trying to use pokesav with no$gba, but it isn't working. I get the file on pokesav alright, but it won't load on the game. It will just start a new game. Here are the steps I did and just so you know I'm using it because my old save was deleted right before my ninth badge.

1 Played until I caught a pokemon and saved.(over 500kb)

2 Used No$gba to VBA to convert the notepad thing

3 opened my save converted save in pokesav (it showed up with everything)

4 edited then saved

5 renamed the copy so it was the same as the game I was running so
it would be like pokemondiamond.SAV pokemondiamond.nds

6 deleted the old save

then I would run the game only to find it would restart the whole game! What am I fogetting? Thanks!
