Cutting 30 sec off a 6 min DVD (lossless)

I have a six minute DVD that is sent to me each month. I need to cut 30 seconds off the front of this DVD and then add my own little intro on the front. After adding this, I need to burn it onto a new DVD, however I want the video to be lossless. I have successfully done this, but the quality was not good enough.

What is the best way to complete this task in a lossless form

Hi Matt,

Here's a few helpful guides:

To cut the 30 sec from the beginning, use this guide with DVD Shrink in re-author mode, just select the beginning frames at the spot you want the movie to start.

Then, to add your own clip to the beginning you might find this guide usefull

I believe that no compression will be needed, so the process should be completely lossless.

To burn the files use Nero or a similar burning tool.
