NDS xploder help please

i've got a NDS xploder software and the uploading usb, ive installed it, but the program doesnt recognise the usb is connected. when i plug it in a pop-up says "USB device not recognized" ive contacted them, but they stopped replying to me, and ive installed the updates with no luck, any ideas on what to do?
