disk write error on XCopy platinum

I upgraded to xcopy platinum. I can read the disk and write to my harddrive but as soon as I try to record I get a disk write error. The record process is not even starting. Tried changing DVD recorders, same problem. Any ideas on why this is occuring?

Are you using DVD+R or DVD+RW and do you have the upgraded version of Platinum? I bought it in November and immediately upgraded to the new version 3.2.1 when I registered. It would only work correctly with RW DVDs. Per the support forums this was a new problem. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and kept the older version and the problem was solved.
