Why am I getting this error when I try to burn a movie with DVD shrink?

you upgraded to Nero 7 and you didn't clean out Nero 6, which is still in there! And your version of Nero 7 isn't the best version of Nero 7!
there is a better version of Nero 7.... 7.10.1.0........
Save your serial # then uninstall Nero!
Use the cleaning tool: Nero7 Clean tool http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html

do a registry clean up using this free cleaner: CCleaner:

then do a defrag and reboot!

you are using very old firmware for your very old drive!
Firmware is programming that is inserted into a programmable memory area of your drive, thus becoming a permanent part of a drive. This 'software' is called firmware and can be updated with a firmware flasher. A firmware upgrade can add new functionality to your drive. Also bug fixes and improvements are done by firmware upgrades. It also adds more media codes and write strategies to the drive to improve burning capabilities and disk recognition. Doing a firmware upgrade should only improve your drive.
Now update your firmware so your drive can burn newer media:

download 2.18 read the smaller print.... this firmware version is for upgrades from your version 2.15! use this version (2.18).
do these changes and see if you have better results! Post back!
