M3 Perfect Lite NOR memory

Does the M3 Perfect Lite have NOR Memory like the EZ 3 in 1 does, im only asking because if i wanted to save the game normally i.e. in a normal save place in a game pokemon emerald for example, and then turn off my DS would i be able to play it from that place when i turn my DS back on like a normal gba game, like the ez 3 in 1 does. Also because the m3 perfect has a RTC will i have to do any patching to pokemon emerald to get it to work correctly
