I have installed a second hard drive just for utorrent. What i want to do is transfer all the torrents that are done to a new folder on the second hard drive for seeding. I changed the default folder thing to the new drive and the new downloads are going there and work fine. But the the ones that were on the c drive won't work , just keeps saying file missing. I had to put the old ones back on the c drive to get them seeding again. Do i have to leave it like this to seed from both? I am Using ver. 1.6.1 as sugested in the guide here at afterdawn.

Don't know if moving a seeded file to a second hard drive prevents this but restarting the original torrent should work.

@ mistycat

Thanks that works. First i had to change the name of the folder in c to an alias. Then i went back and had to remove all the torrents from that folder in the torrent list, or it would not let me reload, Then went to torrent site and restarted the torrents and it found them in my new folder and reloaded them. everything works great!! THANKS AGAIN

Your ratio in utorrent will start again at 0 but the total will still be counted towards any private site ratio.

I can't get on a private site they are closed. So i use Mininova axxo. Does that mean my ratio's don't count and i will always be considered a leech????

Seeding to public trackers is just a common courtesy so your ratio really means nothing to anyone except you.

Okay Thanks for the info. I will still keep seeding even if it don't count. I like being able to download, and if no one seeds you get nothing. they seeded me, i will seed someone else. THANKS
