Hi,

I made a DVD with a menu for a client.
I also made data files (website base) that run on a normal CD.

Can I combine the DVD files with the PC files on one DVD disk? The idea is that if you put the DVD in a home DVD machine it will show the video. If you put it in a PC you will be able to browse and open data files or use autorun.

I got it to work playing DVD and data files on a PC from one DVD disk, but it do not work on the home DVD machine. All the other DVD?s I make works on the home DVD machine.

Thank you for helping

It should work ok.
These are the notes I made when creating a hybrid DVD.

Quote:
Using IMGBurn:
Add the VIDEO_TS folder.
Add other types of files, either in a folder or as individual files as space permits and burn disk.

Alternative method using Nero:
Boot Nero Burning Rom and on the ?Wizard? screen select ?DVD-Video? then ?New?.

The Wizard clears and the screen is divided into two parts.

On the right side file-browser panel, open the folder containing the video files.

Select all of the files in the folder and drag them to the left panel and drop them in the open ?VIDEO_TS? folder.

This folder will only contain the files from the ?VIDEO_TS? folder on the right panel.

Select data files or folders from the right panel as required and drop them on the left panel.

When ready, click ?Burn? and create the new Video/Data disk.

The disk will play as a regular DVD movie disk on the standalone player.
A PC will be able to play the DVD (with appropriate software) and read the data files.

Edited for clarity.
