I recently downloaded utorrent a couple of days ago and havent done anything with it yet but I've noticed at the bottom of the window of the program it says stuff like this

DHT: 212 nodes (Updating)
D: .8 kb/s T: 112 kb/s
U: .2 kb/s T: 66.9 kb/s
and these change all the time

What does this all mean, i havent put any files or anything on it. Im sure this question has been asked before but i really dont want to spend all day finding an answer somewhere in the archives. Any help would be appriciated. Thanx

Hey
All the stuff that is down the bottom of the window is just the status of certain processes.
DHT (Distributed Hash Table) allows uTorrent to continue downloading without a tracker. A Tracker coordinates communication between peers downloading/uploading torrents. Nodes are networked devices such as computers or routers and peers are other people downloading the torrents.
The D is your current download speed & the T is the total you have downloaded.
The U is your current upload speed & the T is the total you have uploaded.
