I have a pretty small budget for this comp; $300 and I found these parts, will it be able to watch movies online and play semi-modern games, if not what do I have to do in the long run to make it better?

Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
WINTEC AMPX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
GIGABYTE GA-M78SM-S2H Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Rosewill R909SL Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2.5GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor

I already have a DVD Lightscribe from memorex, is there anything else i need?

Hmm, integrated graphics wont run semi modern games. Also AMD duals cores are decent but it's much better to get a Intel Core 2 Duo. You will also need a PSU.

Seriously, save up. You build that computer now and it wont even runs games. Even if you upgrade you will end up spending way more then if you do it properly the first time.

You need a PSU, and decent units of those are at least 50 dollars, no questions asked - cheaper ones aren't worth buying. That CPU is actually pretty good, I have no objectons to it. I'd get better RAM though, I really would, and you definitely need a graphics card. This is what I can suggest:

This lot should do you for semi-modern games, and comes to a bit over 450 dollars. Start saving! :)
