I have MP3 podcasts that I want to listen to at a fastr rate than they were recorded at (so it'll take something like 45 min to listen to a 1 hour podcast. I have a cheap pmp3 player that eats batteries, holds only 256 MB and has hard to use controls. that one does have speed control.

all other MP3 players I have tried do not have speed control. The sandisk c200 does have speed control when you play back an audible file (aa extension).

There doesn't seem to be a way to convert mp3 into aa (loads of apps to go the other way).

Anyone know:

what mp3 players let you play back mp3 at faster rate?
or
COnvert mp3 to aa and will that let me use the fastr playback speed?
or
any other suggestions? I don't really want to redo all the mp3s using an app on the pc to speed them up at PC. then if there's a part I want to slow down to normal, I can't.

thanks!
