Hi - can anyone help me!!

I have recently bought 2 DS Lite consoles and 2 16gb (2gb) Firecards, one for each of my kids. I have tried using the Firecards with .nds files and not managed to get them working.

I copy the files onto the card and can see them in a menu, when i swtch on the DS, but when i select them i get a white screen on both top and bottom screens and nothing happens. I then switch the device off and on select a different .nds file and get the same issue.

i have been through these forums and have formatted the Firecard and then tried again but i get the same problem every time.

It is not the DS as i tried a Firecard from a friend in the console and it worked fine. My firecard in his console did not work!!

I have seen things on these forums regarding firmware etc but am not sure how to check and proceed with this...

Can anyone help with this issue - i have already spent far too many hours on something that should be simple :(

Thanks in advance!!

Marcus

as far as I know, firmware are the files you need to get the games to work...

can you get your friends card and check which files he has on the root directory of his sd card that do not have a nds extension? These should be the files his card are using to run the games

Hmm, Marcus...
i think you are doing everything correctly, yet these 2 cards simply wont work.
the chances of 2 new cards showing this very same problem is remote........
....unless you are using a MAC!!!
.are you using a MAC, marcus?

Hmmmm. No i am not using a MAC.

This gets a little moe confusing as i have managed to get 1 game to work!! The Bee Game (a simple platformer). That's it....

I am going to borrow my friends DS and Card and copy the contents of his card to one of mine and see if that works. The problem is that both my cards appear to have the same problem that it is not just one of them....

I will try again and let you know!!!

Like i have time for all this :)

Hi - i contacted the company i bought the card from (Pinpoint Games) and they sent me a replacement file for the card. I formatted it then added the new file and bingo success!!
If you let me have your email address i will forward the file i used to you.
