Its been awhile for me . but i am seeing more and more titles with symbols [title_title]

is it something new? it also appears to be on new release of older dvds.

Windows can't create a folder with those symbols so your rip will fail. Make a folder and rip the files to that one. Some updated ripping programs automatically remove them.

yes i did notice that its on the dvd but gone on the ripped file title

i was using dvdfab 5.0.3.0. it was having trouble with these dvd's until i updated last night. but i did not realize that some of the titles had these symbols [].

just wondering if its a new trend in protection
